Hope Squad started out as a diary to share the ups and downs of life with infertility and not finding a whole lot out there to help me document it in my style. I tentatively showed my first set of IVF cards on Instagram and was shocked to have orders the same day. I’ve fallen in love with sharing makes with others on their family making journey, but have always wanted to make it a not-for-profit shop. I’m really proud to say it now is! Every penny of profit is given to two charities close to my heart supporting those going through IVF and adoption.
“My entire life can be described in one sentence. It didn’t go as planned and that’s ok”
Yep that’s me. The owner of this shop and writer of the blog
I found out I had infertility as a teen.
It wasn’t an easy journey for me and my husband to become a parents. In fact pretty unconventional, but we made it and now have the most gorgeous funny little boy without needing my awkward tummy. We are on another tricky road (currently IVF but we will see where life takes us) to give him a much wanted sibling. I’ve shared my past and present IVF vlogs here.
I love thunder and lightning, facing fears and chai lattes.
I believe in trying your best in life and being kind, always.
I design everything in my little shop and collab with my amazing designer Megan on the milestone cards (she is the most patient human ever with me!)
If you’d like to find out more, have a mooch around my blog. Any questions? Just pop over to ask on Instagram. I really do believe we are all in this together and happy to have a natter
